During my junior year in High School in 1970 I started an apprenticeship at Rambusch Decorating Company, 40 West 13th Street in Manhattan sweeping the floors in the stained glass shop. After I graduated from Newdorp High School, I started my freshman year at Pratt Institute, majoring in Art and Design. I worked my way through college, still working at Rambusch. I graduated with a BA in Art and Design and advanced up the ladder at Rambusch to eventually become foreman of the stained glass studio. I worked in that position for several years before I decided to open my own studio here in Warwick, New York.
